Profile
I am Marijke, a professional Flemish voice-over artist and voice actress. Working from my home studio in Heverlee (Leuven), I give your script a warm, clear, and natural sound that fits your story, brand, and audience. With more than 20 years of experience in journalism, communications, branding, and marketing, I know that good voice work is about much more than just reading lines. Rhythm, tone, timing, nuance, and the right emotion make all the difference.
My passion for voice and language took shape through my studies in Communication Sciences (KU Leuven), Radio & TV Journalism (Thomas More), and Diction, Speech & Voice Technique (SLAC). During my journalism training, I gained hands-on experience with media outlets such as VRT, VTM, and Qmusic. At ActuaTV, I took my first professional steps as both a journalist and voice talent, continuing to sharpen my ear for language, rhythm, timing, and storytelling. I then spent over two decades working in communications, branding, and marketing.
Today, I work as a Flemish voice talent for commercials, corporate videos, IVR and phone systems, e-learning, documentaries, audio guides, podcasts, animation, gaming, and audiobooks. Warm, clear, gentle, and natural. From my professional home studio, I deliver high-quality audio with quick, flexible turnaround (often within 24 to 48 hours) and full dedication to your story.
Why Voices
I want to be part of Voices because it gives me the opportunity to share my voice professionally with a wider audience. Bringing scripts to life gives me a lot of satisfaction, and I look forward to working with clients who are looking for a natural, emotional, and clear voice-over.

Request submitted, and they review the text themselves, making minor adjustments where necessary. If there's a small detail in the audio that the client has an issue with, they resolve it very quickly and produce new audio on the same day. Highly recommended, and we now have a very professional answering machine. Top! I was helped and recorded by Johfrah.
